He is a big donor, some anesthesiologist. Is a poster on Rivals pay board that obviously has connections in the program and drops some good inside info from time to time. The blonde next to him is his wife, she used to be married to a guy I know here in Des Moines.
Yep. He's an anesthesiologist in Cedar Rapids. At least last I knew he was. I was in the operating room with him quite a bit back in the day. He's kind of an arrogant ass to be honest. At the time Alford was the head coach. He'd name drop constantly and he'd always be talking about getting to fly with the team. Don't get me wrong... that's pretty cool, but he didn't have any humility about it. Which sort of rubbed a lot of people I knew the wrong way (including surgeons whom I would hear mock him after he would leave).
I have no doubt he's probably donated a boatload of money though.
Sounds like he acts like he posts, at least he is consistent then.
He pays a lot of money to be close to the team. That's basically what I gathered from it. Huge Hawk fan though, and I'm sure the program can always use the money so it's a win win I suppose.
To be fair, I should add that I didn't know him well. However, your reputation has a way of preceding you. Whether that's a good thing or a bad thing is your choice. Arrogance is hardly a rare trait in the operating room.

I've heard his posts or insight on recruits can be taken to the bank. He's revealed a lot of future commits well before they were made public regardless of the sport. Alaric Jackson comes to mind last year, he revealed he'd silently committed about a week before Jackson announced. Was always curious who this guy was and how he was connected.

Yeah. I know him. Funny thing is he usually wouldn't say shit if he had a mouthful.Brent and Ellen Feller from Cedar Rapids
Not necessarily limited to the operating room, or other highly paid jobs. I had a friend in high school who was just a regular guy. Went to school to be a civil engineer and somehow had connections and ended up a vp at John Deere. He pays a lot of money to be close to the team. That's basically what I gathered from it. We used to run in similar circles in the late 90s. He's put on some weight. And his latest wife is a not nearly as attractive as his old one.
