My sources at the Des Moines Register are telling me the package contained the "Big Ten Championship Trophy". Now that is suspicious.

Sounds fishy to me. Kinnick has likely been dead for years. It is unlikely that he could find a suspicious package.

I was going to go with "The package was deemed harmless after it was found to be a playbook containing more than 1 page. Greg Davis was still suspicious of the package but was eventually convinced that it was not harmful."
