Surprise Young Wrestler Tonite?

I found this on USA...anyone have any insight?

"Coach Brands said today, that we will see at least 1 suprise young wrestler going for Iowa tonight. He said you have to come to CHA tonight to find out who it will be, & he would not elaborate more."

Him or maybe Brands has seen enough at 157 and is burning the redshirt on Derek St. John and getting him ready for the Big Ten's and Nationals. It would be a good test to see where he stacks up against Schlatter on Sunday after getting his feet wet tonight.

I would like to see Gambrall or Ambrose go out there in front of the home crowd and give us what we may see in the next few years.
 


If Brands does pull St John's redshirt it will be a little depressing in my mind. There is really no need to pull his redshirt not that he cant handle the job but we dont need him this year and we do need him the next 4 years.

My thoughts exactly. It is way too late in the season to pull his redshirt. The extra year of practice he is getting will pay off huge in a few years.
 


No way does he pull the red shirt off of Derek.They just have to figure out who is going to be the guy at 157.
 




I was going to guess Ambrose but I doubt AFHawk is wrong. Is Keddy still a little dinged up? Trying to get him healthy for the end of the season?
