Super Bowl Saturday?

Why haven't the beer companies gone to the NFL, paid boo-koo bucks to have this game on Saturday night. Are you kidding me?
-The bars would be packed. Are they packed on Sunday at 5:30?? or 9:00PM when its over? No
-How many watch the game at home and do very little? Many
-Beer and liquor sales would be thru the roof, house parties would be huge.
Casual fans, with no affiliation or team in the game would be all over a Saturday night game.

I'd love to see the Super Bowl on a Saturday night. With two weeks between the conference championship games and the big one it only makes sense.

Agree completely. Old-schoolers may argue that NFL is a Sunday Game, but we've had Monday night football, and now Thursday night games, for a long time. Plus, the playoffs include Saturday games as well.
It makes huge amounts of sense to have the souped-up bowl on a Saturday evening.
Where is the petition that I can sign?

You know what else would be huge? The number of drunk driving tickets issued that night. Man, that'd be worse than NYE. Too many drunks on the road, I'll stay at home, thanks.
