Sully out for the season

Good gravy. This season.

Coming off a bye with a reeling Maryland team, I gotta believe we can cobble together a win there.

I have less confidence about a reeling Nebbie team who may be playing for relevancy and their coach on Black Friday. Nebbie is better than their record.
I disagree with your comment about Lil Debbie. They are a freaking dumpster fire, if they lose to Wisconsin Saturday it will be FIRE RUHLE talk....they are so overrated!

By this time in November, teams are about as good as their record shows. Nebraska is fair/just OK. I think Wisconsin will give them a tough time. Should be interesting.

If they lose that game, holy shit, Omaha will be on fire. It’s smoldering right now, put them at 5 needing to beat Iowa on the final week and they’ll fold
I watch Carriker’s pod every week and it gets better and better every time. That guy is absolutely losing his mind and I’m scared for his mental health. I also love seeing Sam McKeown’s on-field instant reaction meltdowns after each game.

Much like Iowa, Nebbie's last two games are both basically coin tosses, IMHO. I would not bet any of those three games. If Rhule wins both of these games Omaha would not be on fire, they would probably throw him a parade down Dodge Street. If he splits, especially if the win is at Iowa, then I think everyone safely retires the torches and pitchforks for another season. But lose them both, and you are not far off.

It is clear Rhule knows what is at stake these next two games. Whether they choke or not remains to be seen.

Dana Holgerson scares me more than Rhule, Frost, Reilly, Callahan, and Mickey Joseph combined then squared. Holgerson is not pulling any punches calling out players who aren't performing which is what their fans have wanted the past decade. One podcaster I listened to said Satterfield was callig plays designed at avoiding non-playmaker positions rather than holding them accountable and trying to fix it. Holgerson has the right approach and knows what he's doing. Our only hope from here on out is that the recruiting has slipped to a point where their players aren't serviceable enough to get the job done no matter who their coach is.

Anyone who can step in a P4 program and call plays nine days after walking in the building and not get blown out 48-3 is dangerous. Shamefully, Holgerson was born and grew up a Hawks fan a half hour south of Iowa City.

Let's hope he doesn't know his personnel that well in such a short window, it's hard to even know what you got.

Holgerson to Iowa would have made too much sense. KF would have never brought in a guy like Holgerson as OC. Too much personality and ability. KF likes good soldiers on his coaching staff, not fellow generals.

Nebbie's offense did not look any better last week. I think they broke their QB for the time being. We will see if HC, OC, and QB will all be around next year. Nothing is for sure anymore.

You cheered me up and made me smile. Nebraska fans are the most delusional fans around. I always enjoy it when Iowa knocks the delusional right out of them.
