Suggestions for the NEW Kinnick experience

So I thought the brain trust here could have some fun and help out at the game day atmosphere at same time.

I stole this idea from the "Kinnick experience" thread and from Teh Wasteland.

Here's how this will work:
If you reply or post in the thread you have to add a suggestion along with your comment or video. Let's just add ideas that'll enhance the experience/game day. Stick to the rules, and nobody gets hurt.

I'll go first...

Pull "Machine Head" out of rotation for a little while and mix up the playlist for 3rd downs. I'd suggest this opening riff...

It starts and ends with the product on the field. Running plays that go longer than 7 yards. An offense that can score more than 22 points a game. A dominant defense, etc.

The rest will take care of its self. We don't need to have a mind blowing spell binding sensory experience broguht by just the right music and megatron visuals.

Just gotta do somthing diffrent that what other folks do then just own it. Likw who would have thought touching a rock was cool but people love that.

You have to come up with something that is unique to Kinnick that is down at the end of the third quarter or between plays. Georgia's band plays some cool music on 3rd and long...etc. We need more pagentry damn it.

Second would be to update the mascot's look. Jesus, he looks like a paper machet project from a kindergarten class...and they sucked doing it. There has to be something they can do to improve that eye sore. Can't we get a real Hawk or something to fly around the stadium. PETA would love that...all the drunk Iowa fans throwing stuff at the bird. There has to be an answer to that atrotious mascot outfit.

Let this song play longer, rather than cutting it off and going into the fight song. Let it play longer as the players run out, then fight song, then IOWA chant.

Get some of the past Hawkeye greats on the video screen to pump up the crowd for big plays/3rd downs/kickoffs/etc.

"Hey Hawk fans, this is Chad Greenway. Stand up and make some noise!"

No more heavy metal, do you people realize most people don't listen to that? I would bet that 98% of the football players hate metal/rock, heck most college students do.
 
Do the I-O-W-A cheer at a time in the game when the TV broadcast will cover it. And use microphones to capture it in surround sound.
 
The band starts, just like in this version. Then the audio system takes over. Amen. Hallelujah. Always thought the U should buy the rights to use this version.

Elaboration: "Go Hawks" parts, obviously the crowd joins in. "hear the final gun" *boom* fireworks (same as used before, nebby game? cant remember...) "here come the hawkeyes!" at the 50 second music riff part. Leaves 30seconds for team to run on field on crowd to go nuts.
