Sudanese bb recruits...

I saw an article in the NYTimes that went into the affect of the new peace in the Sudan, now that southern Sudan is breaking away with their own government. Southern Sudan is home to two tribes,Dinka, and Nuner, who are made up of some of the tallest populations in the world.

Not surprisingly Manute Bol,a 7'6'' NBA center, was a hero in Sudan, and now Luol Deng of the Bulls is very popular.
This former Eastern Illinois player,Bil Duany(I think his brother Duany Duany played at Wis),is coaching a team there in the war-torn country.

He talked of three young players, two 6'8'' 16 year old and a 7'1'' 15 year old, who are coming to the States this summer to enroll at Mooseheart School,in Mooseheart Il....which is Kane county about 60 miles out of chicago.

I know that Peter Jok is Sudanese and as well as the recruit out of Omaha,Agua. Also Madding Thok at Sioux City East.

Might be wishful thinking but it would be great if we could get Jok and Agua, to attend Iowa, and maybe start a little pipeline back to the Sudan.
They are just naturally gifted athletes who are very tall, run well and jump well...and seem to be anxious for a good education, and willing to work for it.
As peace settles over this poverty stricken country, look for a flood of these young bb players to this country. Would love to see Iowa be out front in this wave.

It could be helpful. I think having tall players who like to run would be a great help for our type of offense.
