Student Season Tickets?

Yes, orientation is the earliest time when incoming freshmen will be able to apply for football AND basketball student tickets. Returning students have been able to purchase tickets for around a month now, but hopefully there will be plenty to go around unlike last year!
 
My daughter (no, I'm not posting a pic) has been coming with me to games since 1999. She's realizing her dream of becoming a Hawkeye this fall. Hopefully she'll get a student ticket. Believe me, she'll be at every minute of every game. Not late, and not leaving after halftime. Heck, she'll probably be one to wait in line to get in the front row. I guess if she can't get into the student section, she can still sit with me.
 
She should be fine to get tickets. I also have to purchase mine but I have friends who went to other schools and still got season tickets last year as freshman.
 
I called the ticket office just to be sure. They said Orientation is absolutely the first time to apply. Also said they hold back a good number for incoming freshmen.
