Strategies for beating TENN on January 2nd

Yeah, that was a real knee slapper. Your tastes in humor are about as lame as your taste in coaches.

NOTE TO ALL HN POSTERS:

This is an excellent example of how a 'freshman' poster makes
bad, not well thought out posts, when still wet-behind-ears. And this one directs it at a Senior?
Prolly should be worried, freshy.

GO Friggin HAWKEYES

hate to express it in negative terms but I will.

Ruddock needs to avoid panic and going through progressions too quickly

Receivers need to get separation

OLine needs to execute well - UT is 9th in SEC in run defense

RBs need to read the blocks see the cut backs when they are there.

no dropped passes, no fumbles, no interceptions.

Quicker release and on time - more deliberate passing

Know your own tendencies.

Show some creativity on offense for crying out loud.

I don't know what you need to do in the trenches to stop sone read / veer stuff but they need to do it.

Make them drive the field.

I'd like to see some big plays on special teams.
9th in the SEC in rush defense means nothing. They faced excellent rb's. We play a slow fb as our rb, Canzeri gets hurt if the wind blows so can't count on him. Can't find a hole anyway. Play CJ and let him sling it.

Yeah it reminds me of last year, LSU was giving up like 145 YPG rushing last year, and they completely shut our run game down, hold us to 76 yard rushing. Keep in mind this isn't tough to do, as ISU who allowed 246 YPG rushing, held us to 146 yards. I don't envision for one second that our second rate running backs will put up any sort of rushing yards vs Tennessee.
