Three people stormed the field...and promptly got arrested.
This. We watched the whole thing unfold. We thought they only ended up cuffing two guys. Anyway, it was cool to see just the players rush the field.

I think a large proportion, say 70%, of the "storming the field" crowd are just people that want to run on the grass at our beloved Kinnick Stadium. Any old excuse will do.

The head dude for the new security went around sayin 1000 buck fine and arrested and lose ur tickets.
The dude next to me rushed and got arrested but still was singing the fight song in handcuffs lol

Security that's why! There's a big line of them at the south endzone. I rewatched the game on TV and after it ended I noticed this swarm of security people in the middle of the field. Where the hell did they come from?

Ya there was a huge wall in the north endzone as well. It seemed very weird that no one rushd the field after the game, almost like no one really cared that we won (even tho they did care, just saying that's what it seemd like). Is the security always gonna be like that now? If so why? What's the big deal. I really hope the Pitt game wasn't my last time rushing the field.
The funhaters have ruined one of the last great traditions of the Iowa fanbase. In past years the students would have rushed out of their seats and congratulated the players after such an emotional win.
It really takes something away from the moment to only see the players out there jumping up and down. Just one more thing that lessens the gameday environment at Kinnick Stadium.
I did see the po-po escorting two gentlemen away wearing the steel bracelets. Must have really sucked to be those guys.

The dogs and cops situation kinda kept me from wanting to. Oh, and it wasn't that type of game.

Im glad we didnt rush the field but i dont understand how they arrest people when there are times in the past they have let it go. How does security decide when to arrest and when to allow?

really, i was there when we beat penn state and it was so cool watching the field get swarmed, it literally happened in about 20 seconds. it was wild, so great. now that's out? whatever, they cant stop us all!!!!!!!!!!! not even 2star
