Still in shock!

After an eternity I witnessed the unheard of on Saturday night in Iowa City. No, it wasn't the fact the police didn't arrest anyone for public drunkenness, but an Iowa QB running through the center of the defense for more than 20 yards, not once but twice. PSU evidently couldn't find any examples of it during the scouting or tapes. I'm not sure KF has figured that you need a mobile QB and a few designed QB runs. At my age I can't stand too many shocking developments.

I thought the two long runs from Gronowski were just good runs by him. What I was shocked at was how the Penn State defense completely blew it on the two bootleg runs he had. On the first one, he scored an easy touchdown and the other sealed the win. On both plays, not one defender stayed home to stop that play. That is pretty fundamental.
