It's funny when people say a word or use a phrase in the wrong context, especially when they think they are making a nifty statement.
Anyway, I got a chuckle out of Bardo on the BIG yesterday talking about D'angelo Russell. He's was trying to compliment him & state how good a shooter he is. Anyway, he said like 3-4 times, thinking he's cool, "D'angelo Russell, he can shoot it in a phone booth!". I'm like really!?? He should. Any college player should.
Usually, people say "he couldn't shoot it in a phone booth" when describing how bad someone is shooting. What Bardo said is really not a compliment at all and kind of the opposite. But, he tried. Funny thing is he thought he was really funny with the statement though.
I just noticed it & found it hilarious. That's all. Carry on peoples!!
