Mid major coach with a beer league demeanor. Izzo owns the crying to the refs the whole game routine. Give it a rest doosh.

As an Illinois fan, how could you watch him night in and night out? I really, really like Fran's more laid back demeanor this year, and I think the team is responding better to it. If you are a lunatic all the time (I don't think Fran was all the time), but if you are, the players just tune it out. There is a big difference in showing emotion (like Fran still does) and flat out losing your sh!t (like Groece does on a nightly basis, or like Fran did at Wisconsin last year). That just grates on me when a adult, and leader of young men, can't control their emotions.
 
That was on the refs. He was asking for a T. I think he was surprised a couple of times when it didn't happen. He should have been T'd up within the first 5 mins of play.
 
I haven't watched Illinois much this year. Is he like that all the time? Cause how did he not get a T? He was just going on and on. I would think most any coach would have been warned and Td up for what he did. I don't think Fran would have been given that much leway
 
Fran did way less in the past and got T'd up all the time. Groce stood their spending more time screaming at the officials than actually coaching and nothing happens. Fran can barely breathe without getting T'd up. It's a bunch of crap.
 
I was impressed that the ref didn't do something while the guy was screaming in his ear for, like, 5 minutes straight. Someone did that to me I wouldn't just T them up, I'd probably turn around and punch them in the face.

This is why I couldn't ref.
