INDEPENDENCE-Senior standout Blaize Cabell of Independence signed his national letter of intent Tuesday morning to continue his wrestling career next year at the University of Northern Iowa.
Cabell went 27-17 as the Mustang 171-pounder in his freshman year, and followed that up with a 41-4 slate as the Independence 171-pounder as a sophomore. He was a WaMaC Conference champ that season and placed sixth in the state tournament. Cabell duplicated his league title last year at 189 for Independence and also made the state meet. His record was 42-3.

Blake Sorensen, Jordan Rinkin and Matt Paulus all 3 have signed with Upper Iowa
