Starting Defensive Line?

After the isu win, what about Hesse at left end, Lattimore tackle, Matt Nelson tackle, Epenesa right end? Let Anthony Nelson come off the bench, he seems to be quite this year. I really like sophomore #57 Chauncey Golston, a 6'5 265 pound DE. I thought he was a force against isu.

This defensive line is as good if not better than the 2004 line, and much deeper. It's gonna be an epic battle when this Iowa d-line faces the Wisconsin o-line in two weeks.

Epenesa is too damn good to be coming off the bench, he was unstoppable against isu. He man handled that cyclone left offensive tackle. He would start for any Big 10 team right now. This is a good problem to have!

Parker is using g AJE masterfully. He's in there when he has the best chance to disrupt the play. He may end up leading the B1G in sacks coming off the bench.

No way. Watch the game again. Anthony Nelson was getting double teamed a lot, and being held constantly. If you remove him, that means the other team can double AJ more. Also, Anthony plays the run very well. He's our best all around guy out there.

The way they are using the line right now is perfect.

You lost me with the Anthony Nelson on the bench line. We'll be damn lucky if he's not on an NFL roster at this time next year.

With the athletes Parker has on the edge and now the outside LBs, this 4-3 defense doesnt look that different than WI's 3-4. He drops DEs into coverage and is blitzing w the LBs more.
