First off, Stanzi is a winner and I'm glad he is our QB (although I've pulled my hair out at times).. At no point did I feel that he needed to be pulled for a redshirt Freshman with no experience.
The wind was an obvious factor on the deeps balls and one int wasn't even his fault (Davis was doing a crossing route and ran into the official cutting the route off. Davis would have caught the ball in stride otherwise.) My concern would be that Stanzi should be aware of the wind & the consequences of throwing into it, particularly when there was a rb in the flat open for at least a first down. I think at times Stanzi presses to much to make the big play vs. being patient is take what is given.
