Stanzi not wearing Iowa helmet at Senior Bowl

He finally cut his hair! Sign of the apocalypse?

Nice that he and Tony are still close. Does it mean anything that Stanzi was interviewed for the by the Chiefs media at all? I've been hoping he ends up there and that kinda sways me to think they're looking at him a bit.

I am puzzled by the helmet situation, though. It didn't get shipped? The Iowa equipment staff couldn't just send him another one that would fit? Do they realize there are things like FedEx and UPS that can handle that? Hopefully he'll have one in time for the game.

Over the weekend one of the ESPN analysts (forgetting name) said Stanzi could be the real sleeper in the Senior Bowl. Said he has the work ethic and smarts to be a really good QB at the next level, and that good workouts this week and a good performance at the game could really raise his stock.
 
Hopefully they can get him a helmet with a Tigerhawk for the actual game. Every little bit of exposure helps.

I know what I'm getting with Duff. He might come wrapped in bacon, but I know he'll have some big ol' chunks of chicken breast or little smokies wrapped in bacon too. Sometimes we all have to swallow our pride a little for a delicious bacon snack.
 
Now that makes me even more jacked up that my Direct TV order will be installed before this weekend. I was trying to beat the super Bowl, but this too will be good. It is a pretty good excuse for some tailgaten food.
