Stanzi gets 4 year contract

No kudos from me for those who predicted stanzi would end up in KC. There were so many indicators that it was pretty apparent that he had a good chance of ending up in KC.


Sneaky good pick-up by KC of getting Breaston. Nice compliment to Bowe and Moeaki.

rick has coach written all over him when his playing career is over. he's obviously a nut for the film room.

KC has the makings of a good team. who knows, maybe rick will get his chance, maybe not. if he does, i know he'll be mentally prepared, we'll see if he has the tools to be an NFL QB. good to see him at least go to a team that appears to have their crap together instead of a team like the raiders or bengals.

For some reason people think that I dislike Ricky. I don't. I watched the kid win a lot of games for Iowa over the past 3 yrs. So kinda like a Sage Rosenfels 2.0? Nice college career, bowl games, middle of the road draft pick, few spot starts in NFL, made a nice living for himself.

And before the bashing starts, not an ISU fan, just a guy from Iowa calling it like I see it.

Yeah maybe. IIRC, Rosenfels last college game was played at the Insight bowl. That should make for an interesting starting point for comparisons.
 


I'm a Chiefs fan, but not a Cassel fan. I hope Ricky gets some reps this year and, if he gets protection, will push Cassel next year.....I hope.
 


C'mon guys, I think what we're all really missing in this discussion is where does this put Tyler Palko. From what I know about Tyler (granted, I know nothing) is that he is a solid backup with great mobility. He will certainly challenge Stanzi for 2nd on the depth chart. Don't count out Palko guys.
