Stanley

Y'all do realize he looked very much like a little younger and a little less experienced (which he is) Tom Brady tonight.
He's not perfect, but nobody is. But there were a bunch of passes that should have been caught tonight as well. I didn't count but I would bet more passes that should have been caught weren't than passes that couldn't be caught and we're way off.
Nate showed a ton of improvement on touch tonight.

He's no Tom Brady-lite. Be serious. There were around 3 passes dropped. And he did have a high comp% at 21-30. some of those completions were not on target; receiver had to break stride.

3 of those he threw away because of coverage.
so 21 for 27 or so -- that is good.

Not seeing it so much. Nate has a career of empty stats. He is capable but not exceptionally talented

He doesn't have the targets like Brady has either.
I think we have a couple now though. I think Brandon is finally breaking through and Oliver is as advertised. Sargent has good hands.
I'm telling you...........
Or let me put it this way.
What other QBs this weekend did as well?
As few mistakes? Who weren't just a touch off on a few?
Make the catches tonight that were catchable and everyone would be talking and melting the internet.

My only gripe and it has been the last few years is he needs to throw the ball away more and look to run more often. He did that this game and the grounding call was BS and was a good decision.

I hope BF can call more plays on third and short that give Stanley an option to use his legs more rather than press a throw. All in all after watching the other teams in the Big Ten and their QB play we are in very good shape at this point in the season.
