Kurt Warner is perhaps a very good comparison, hope Stanley does as well!

this route is actually the best route to make money. Get paid decent backup money, minimal play, no CTE/concussions. Stick around for 6-7 years make $5-6 million. Then coach High school football for 20-30 years.

But maybe, as Warner did (AFL), he'll need to spend some time in a non-NFL league first, improving his accuracy and decision-making skills.

He doesn't seem to be developing with the Hawkeye staff, perhaps new and more competent QB mentoring will serve him well. The "Hawkeye Plateau" of experienced QBs seems to have infected him. He has many of the tools that can't be taught. Accuracy, quicker release, quicker decisions, lateral moves, are in need of improvement. It would be great to see a successful QB from Iowa in the NFL. I am hoping he can stun the Badgers, a signature win for him, given Wisconsin is his home.
 
I think he is a lot like Cousins. Put him under a good qb coach and a similar style offense and veteran qb and he has potential.
See how fast he can grow.
Definitely not first round, but worth the risk to see if he continues to improve.
Because if you admit it or not, he's been pretty solid as a hawk, done what is asked and improved in several areas.

I just don't see us going into Madison and stunning anyone. I will be stunned if we score. What happened in Illinois was a fluke. Wisconsin overlooked Illinois and that was the result. Badgers won't be overlooking us.

I'm a Hawkeye fan who has lived in Wisconsin for eighteen years.

I can deal with his "message".

I would say the reason it "could" happen is, Iowa, at least on offense, has vastly under-performed, and might have a game in them where it clicks: avoiding melt downs when in scoring position, actually blocking the rushers, runners gaining 4-5 yards, Stanley avoiding a few rushers, including the TEs in the game, BF out-coaching the Badgers' D coordinator, and other dreams and fantasies... Plus, perhaps the Iowa players are tired of getting their asses handed to them by the Badgers and plan to do something about it.

A lot of things could happen but Stanley avoiding a rush isn't one of them. Monkeys will fly out of his ass before he can avoid a Wisconsin blitz.

I'm fucking sick and tired of our asses getting kicked by Wisci.....our kids need to get a fucking 'tude and go balls to the wall. I say our kids when I really mean the dynamic duds, knows as the HC & OC. Quit looking at the clock and the replay on your false starts and delay of games, or the 11 yard sack, and coach.....If there is 1 game that Stanley wants, it has to be this one....Senior in your home state, let's do it....

give the poor guy a decent pair of guards and he’d be a whole different story.

After the Ohio state 2017 game I’m a firm believer anything could happen. I’d give iowa a 10% in Madison. That Ohio state team was waaayyy more talented than this Wisconsin team.

If the Iowa players don't show up pissed and ready to "give no quarter" to the Badgers, then, well, they belong in Pinstripes. Show up and play like the Hawkeyes of old, who, even when losing, beat the crap out of the other team, and the other team knew it and respected it.
