Stanley and Fant NFL draft first rounders?

Let’s hope they can make the connection all season long. It’s been a LONG time since Iowa had a quarterback that could CHUCK the ball that well and garner that much attention.

Fant will get drafted high but probably not first round.

As far as Stanley,

1) I don’t see him leaving early, it’s not usually beneficial to QBs

2) His draft prospect depends a lot on how successful the Hawks are. 10-2 he might have a chance. 4-8 even with good QB numbers not a chance.

The ONLY reason I think it is possible after this year is that at the current moment it does not look to be a very strong QB class. I think this plays into why the writer is saying he could be a first round pick.

I agree though, I think he and Iowa would have to have a spectacular year. He'd have to hit his long passes consistently, get his reception % up in the 70's and have low INT's.
