Stanford O = Iowa O

Yeah I know its a stretch, but I want to see us look like these guys, using the TE regularly, running the rock. Why aren't we as explosive as Stanford?

I was actually talking about this earlier with a co worker. Stanford runs our offense but more focus on the passing.

They have recruited much better than us over the past few years (under their old coach). They are similar to Wisconsin

Is it just me, or Stanford fairly limited at the receiver position and that's why the focus on the TEs?

Not just you.
Imagine if Luck had McNutt or Davis on that team. Holy smokes.

It's like our offense but not run by a conservative scared coach who only plays not to lose. Too harsh?

They got pretty conservative come OT for some stupid reason though. You've got a QB like Luck, who just happens to be 26-30 at the start of the overtime drive and run it 2 times and leave it up to that horrible fg kicker? How stupid was that, sounds exactly like what Kirk and KOK would do, except they might run it 3 times.

If Luck played for Iowa he would have about seven or eight plays to use, thus nothing would change much for Iowa, even WITH Luck. Our coach would ensure that a QB like Luck would not have much leeway and would run a very conservative offense, one of which the opposing defense would know exactly which play he would be running. The staff is quite capable of tying a QB's hands behind his back to ensure the QB takes no risk.
