Stalling is ruining this sport

Agree, stalling is worse now than ever.
All sessions last week it was terrible, can't understand why they even
have 2 reffs cause outside one does nothing but walk around .
Also , how in heck could they miss the slam on Marion and the 3rd caution on Russell.??
Seems like they have the favorites before it starts ..

I fully agree that the second ref is worthless without some changes. I don't agree that Russell slammed Marion, but I don't know how the ref missed the 3rd caution. Actually, I know the ref didn't miss it...he just wasn't going to call it under the circumstance.

speaking of the third ref what was with the second ref cheering on the other official, I went back and watched the DVR there was a lot of "great call!" or "yup, that's the right call" and even one "terrific call!"

I've been to thousands of matches and have never seen this. Its normal for the second ref to nod or if asked agree or disagree. But I had never seen referrees cheering each other on.


Also the crowd was booing Dakes stalling (what was with that leap, where he just jumped backward 5 feet?) but once he beat an iowa kid the Minny and PSU fans went nuts for him to drown the boos
