Staff giving in to fanbase..??

Even more specifically, KF has clearly heard the cries of us on HN.com and gameplanned according to posters' wishes.

I think KF is running it up to make DJK and Rob Howe look bad.

He clearly is paying attention to what the team is good at. I'll say it....there were a bunch of us on this forum (and others) that said he should come out in the no-huddle to begin the game just to see if the 4th quarter was a fluke or if it really works. It clearly works.

In the 2nd half they need to shut it down. Get the 2nd team players some reps and avoid injuries. Run a series or two with the starters and then pull them.

And going for it twice on 4th down in the first half. Very unlike KF.

I don't know. Has the sneak play been stopped all year? I don't think it has and considering we are playing Louisiana-Monroe, he knows that play is going to be money and there is no risk to running it. I think it's very KF like because he is going with what he knows will work, even if it is 4th down.

The call on 4th down at the goalline was pretty much a no-brainer, but it was the 4th & 1 on our own 49 or so that surprised me.. Historically that has usually been an automatic punting situation for KF. I was glad to see him go for it though, so I'm not complaining. Our offense was rolling (and still is) so I felt we should have gone for it.

I really liked the mix - they sped it up and spread it out at times, while not completely abandoning the power O game. I'm literally shocked at how great I feel the play calling and player utilization was (knock on wood). It's easy to say they should have been doing this all along, or that after last week it was obvious they should have been doing this, but the fact that they actually DID, is I think what surprised me so much. Besides a handful of drops, a fumble and some missed blocks, overall it was just a very good performance by the O today, all parties included.

Kirk Ferentz was told in the interview with the Dolph that the fans loved the opening to the game. Kirk said he did it all for the fans and the media.

Sarcastically of course.
