Spring Football Preview: Breaking Down the Offense

I was surprised at how low these numbers are :

As a true freshman last season, Smith-Marsette (6-1, 175) hauled in 18 passes for 187 yards and two scores,

With the OL untested and brand new RBs it has to be done through the air. Stanley has the size, arm, and decision-making; Easley can make space and pull safeties away, and we have the perfect chance to use a 2 TE set with Fant and Hockenson. Both of whom are going to be the primary receivers on this team, IMO. I don’t see how this squad gets it done on the ground.

fryowa, until i see it, kirk will use the non-con as extended practice for the OL/RB's. i hope you're right cuz you are correct. Our best player is Stanley and he needs to be the straw that stirs the drink.
