Iowa senior guard Matt Gatens has made 27 3-pointers since Feb. 16, the most in NCAA basketball. He has scored 1,574 points in his career to rank eighth in Iowa history. He has made the second-most 3-pointers in school history and has started 123 games in his career.
As he approaches his final regular-season game at Carver-Hawkeye Arena, Gatens spent five minutes with me talking about*his career and other subjects on The Sports Desk. (It also runs at 11 p.m. Friday on KCRG 9.2)
