Very nice to see. Fran has done an amazing job getting the program back to this level in only 3+ years and setting up a great foundation for future success beyond this year.
 




Just watched a video of Dickie V commenting on Iowa's upcoming season, and he makes the point that anything less than an NCAA Tournament would be a disappointment for this year. I know that most Hawkeyes fans have thought that was the case, but it's nice to have that validation from someone who (for better or for worse) is a major voice in the college basketball media.

Lindy's looks more like the order that I think most people here would predict. However, both give Iowa a 4-5 in the B1G nod. The profile has definitely risen.

You're kidding right? Here's a coach who has improved the team win record by 7 for 2 consecutive years (when's the last time someone did that for any Div 1 team?), has put us in a position to be ranked pre-season for the first time in 8 years, and put us back on the map as a potential blue-chip recruiting destination. Yeah, we all expect the NCAA this year including Fran. But Hot Seat if we don't get there?- come-on. That said, if you want to bet against the NCAA outcome, I'm sure someone will allow you to lose your money.
