SPGroth,
You mentioned a couple weeks ago that 609 Melrose is run by the University now and that it was different when 'anyone' could park there. We just lost our tailgate spot and are looking for a new one. Do you have to be a season parker, or do they take drive ups?

The lot at 609 Melrose used to be a drive up lot where anyone could park. They moved to where you had to be a season pass to reserve your spot. About three years ago, the University took over the management of the lot. Now you have to have a University parking pass to park in the lot. You might try calling the Ticket office to see if a spot is available.

I park & tailgate at 609 Melrose. Here's the number to reach them...319-384-3413. It's Iowa parking office. They always had a waiting list, but you can give them a try.
