I know you have some association with Adam Jacobi of BGHP (at least I know you've done a piece with him over there), and that you've been in contact with members of the 2010 class from time to time--maybe Brust in particular. Today BGHP has a piece up saying that Brust is leaning toward asking for his release (they cite a Brommelkamp tweet as the source for that) and then they say that according to their sources, Caff has been "ripping" Lick in his discussions with the signed recruits.

I find that very hard to believe. At least, I don't want to believe it. HAve you been hearing anything like this?

Do you believe Brust is on the way out?

Sorry for the lack of interaction by me the past few days, been playing Daddy Daycare yesterday and today. I'm in town picking up a window that I have to replace in my house... Sorry... Like any of that matters...

Fran, Ben, and invested parties are meeting now and discussing what is to happen. I would expect word soon, either tonight or tomorrow definitively.

It's no secret Ben was a huge fan of Lickliter and Coach Walthall. It's looking more and more like Chad will not be retained by Fran the way some of the recruits and players are reacting. Also, I'm fairly sure no one was rerally happy how Lick was ousted, so that will be an uphill battle for Fran.

I don't know who Adam has talked to. As far as Brommelkamp goes, we don't communicate w each other.

I'm worried about this, but if one thing is for certain it's that Ben knows what's best for him. He will be diligent.
