This is my hope but hell if I know anything at all. I'm just hoping his agent is using Indiana as leverage to get as much as he can from Iowa. But yeah if he ends up going to Indiana that'd be quite the kick to the nuts. Maybe Beth lowballed him to an insulting extent or he didn't hear what he wanted to about the NIL situation or some combination of both. Regardless we'll see how this plays out the next day or so. I can't see this dragging out into the weekend

West Virginia coach Darian Devries has been in contract with Iowa AD Beth Goetz about coaching opening that that B1G school and is expected to take the job. WVU program deserved better from NCAA selection committee.

I read an article saying the Clemson coach is the leading candidate for the Indiana job. He's a native of Indiana, Evansville, played at DePauw and was a high school teammate of Calbert Cheney.
The article also said there'd be a riot if he was the hire, that he hasn't taken Clemson to enough NCAAs.
The Indiana job could be pretty thankless, whoever get it. They just might run DeVries out on a rail if he doesn't produce and produce fast.
