The kid sure can throw the ball like a bullet, maybe too hard. Also, he could of thrown a ball into the endzone with a bit more touch on the one roll out to the right. I still like JR's play and decisions (most of the time), the first INT should have been thrown out of bounds.

Not saying CJB should start but JR does have the in game experience plus a majority of 1st team reps in practice since winning the starting job in the fall. Plus CJB has a better rhythm with the 2nd string WRs. JR is the starter if healthy but saying CJB reminds you of a 5th year starter struggling to learn a new offense is a bit of a stretch. CJB hasn't had a chance until today to prove anything in a real game JVB had all year. JR has had 3/4 of a year.

CJ's pocket presence is really bad...holds onto the ball until either the line holds or he takes a sack. Locks onto receivers. What excites fans is that he throws the ball down field. I don't think CJ coming in will fix Iowa's offense at all, unless they have him running the ball fairly often...

I cant believe they didnt try any read option when the game was still in reach.

according to Ferentz Rudock isn't hurt that bad so doubt we will see beathard.

This times a million... Kept waiting for it. They run it repeatedly with rudock when you know he isn't going to keep it and then we never see it with cj
