Sooooo... is the B12 back?

No, we are so happy our jealous little sister is getting taken care of. Enjoy cashing those Texas paychecks but please get that scoreboard paid off so your big brother does not have to bail you out.

Haven't you enjoyed cashing those Ohio State paychecks?

JD and I think you have a very distorted view of reality.

Is JD Jon Miller? If so, great! The same Jon Miller who has been wrong on every prediction he has made in the past 2 years? The same one who has hoped and prayed for ISU and the Big 12 to fail? I'm glad that my view is different than his. That means I'm closer to being right!

Let the countdown begin for a Clown fan to make some sort of comment that the Big12 will come out from this to be just as strong as the B1G.

It will be spewed from one of their mouths.

It won't be. You guys have more populated areas. Can't compete with that. But I think we can all agree that the Big 12 will continue to put a better product on the field/court for years to come! ;) (friendly ribbing)

Nope pretty sure Iowa has been cashing their own. Outback, Capital one, Orange, and Insight have all written checks to Iowa. What have the clownies gotten recently? More handouts from Texas and Oklahoma is the correct answer.

Thank you for re-enforcing our point.

The 15th most popular program in America cashes its own checks, thx.

Also, you guys have lost Nebraska, Colorado, A&M and prolly Mizzou.

Losing those teams ain't addition by subtraction. Losing teams like Baylor, TT, and, well, ISU would constitute that.

Look into it and see how much money you have pocketed from the Bowl games. You do realize that you don't make much money, if any during those games right?

True.

But the exposure is priceless.

I'm guessing we did alright in those two Orange bowls we played in. But ISU fans don't know anything about playing in BCS bowls, so I understand the confusion.

It's funny that the Big 8 and then Big 12 (until Fiesta tie in) had the Orange Bowl tie in for all those years and Iowa's been to two while ISU has been to zero.

We netted about $382,500 from the Insight Bowl trip last year. That will be enough to fund our men's swimming and baseball teams for all of next year.

How do you fund your men's swimming and baseball teams?

Let me interpret what he is saying.....
"Since teams lose money going to bowl games ISU is better off sucking and not going to them."

Yeah but could it pay for an oversized video board and a QB named Steele Jantz???

No doubt. Exposure is good. Leads to bigger donations to and helps with recruits which continues to put a good product on the field which continues to bring in the recruits

Harder to get to a BCS game through the Big 12 ;)

Why is that funny? ISU has been historically bad in football. Is that news to you?

Nope, didn't say that.

All I'm saying is that yes ISU does benefit from Texas. But Iowa also benefits from Ohio State and the Big 10.

The key fact your missing is, Iowa football brings money into the Big 10. The clowns just hold out their hand and expect to get paid for sucking. The clowns don't go to bowl games yearly, Iowa does.

yeah its called being in a conference were everyone helps out everyone else whether you are tOSU or Purdue. That is why the B1G is the ****!
