October 5, 1985 - first true test as #1 and one of the many instant classics between Hawks and MSU.

Watch how Hayden relished that moment and attacked it like 1) the Hawks belonged there, and 2) with the INTENT to WIN. The vertical strategy, the somewhat risky plays (roll outs and pass-backs, that glorious naked boot) would make derKirkFeravis's head explode ... that is, if they had the balls to peek up from their fetal position. Afterall, it was only a 3 point game and, goodness, gracious the safe strategy would have been to play for the tie (at least it wasn't a loss)

I always love the 1990 or 91 game at Michigan. QB Rogers leads the hawks to a big win and anytime we beat that smug Bo Schembechler it was great.

I have never disliked Michigan football but I disliked Bo who never gave any opponent any credit.
