1. Wisconsin is tied with us in the loss column. If the teams were seeded right now based on the B1G seeding model, Wisconsin finishes up with the 6, 9, 10, 11, 12 and 14 seeded teams and we finish up with the 2, 4, 6, 8, and 10 seeded teams. In other words, our finishing schedule is much more difficult than theirs.
2. However, in our favor, we play 5 games over the next 21 days. PSU, on the other hand, starting with the game at Indiana on Feb 23rd, plays 5 games in 13 days, with 3 of them on the road.
3. Rutgers has 5 games left, with 3 of them on the road, and a back-to-back-to-back of @Wisc, @PSU, home Maryland.
4. MSU has 5 games left, with 3 of them on the road, and a back-to-back-to-back of home Iowa, @Maryland, and @PSU in the span of 7 days.
5. Illinois, while they still have 3 roadies left, gets Nebraska and NW both in their 5 game closing stretch plus a home game against Indiana.....along with Wisky, they have the easiest road left.
Just food for thought as we hit the home stretch.....
