Some positives getting lost in the poor results....

Bullock had 150 against NIU. We had 200 yds rushing as a team against UNI....keep in mind that even with a Heisman finalist in their backfield, Wisky couldn't even run for that much. Weisman then ran for over 200 against CMU.

I don't care how you feel about the Hawks' performance in the W-L columns, the rushing performance and the holes that have been opened have been impressive.

Against 3 poor teams. Seriously are you freaking high?

We ran for 2.8 ypc against Northern Illinois. We had 139 yards as a team. A ****** ****** Kansas team ran for 4 ypc against them and over 170 yards

UNI is an FCS team. We ran for 201 against them. They just gave up 42 points and 191 rushing yards to Youngstown State.

CMU is a horrible team. I'm glad we ran thru them.

We ran for 60 yards against a poor Iowa State team. That same team allowed over 100 yards rushing to Tulsa and Western Illinois.

When you have 2 of 4 games where you rush for 2.4 yards or less. You aren't doing a good job blocking.

Let me tell you how college football stats work. The sacks are included in the running totals. Bullock/Garmon/Weisman ran 36 for 166 at 4.6 ypc.

You're either ignorant or intellectually dishonest, I'll let you choose which one.

Hes neither. Ignorance implies not knowing any better. He does so that makes him stupid. And intellectually dishonest implies some sort of intelligence, albeit dishonest.

Do you notice how he apparently left out Montee Ball's performance against UNI? Hmm, wonder why....

These are some gems that have been lost (especially with all the depressing posting this past week). Good on the OP for bringing these back to light.
It's definitely refreshing.

Hey now... settle down everyone.

The Hawkeyes "seem" to be improving every week.

We still don't know how good or bad our non conference opponets really are.

So... if we barely beat Minny, is that OK?

What if we bury Minny? Is everyone back on board?

We lose to 4-0 Minny.. season lost, fire Ferentz, kill yourself?
