Kid had an awesome drive going at the end of the game, putting himself in position to be a hero with a game winning drive so, I have to give him a pat on the back.

Unfortunately throwing a 1 yard out to a covered receiver, on 4th and 3 was just not 'football smart'.

WOW, WOW, WOW what a disappointing game. Third time this year the Hawks have snatched defeat from the jaws of victory
 
He was horrible all day, through backfoot passes, and threw into the dirt. He barely completed 50% of his passes. He made a couple nice plays, but overall this was a D= performance by him.

meh,

we should watch other teams and get some perspect as to why Iowa has just 4 wins. Look at how many 1st downs Iowa got and how many of those were as a result of penalties. As a drop back QB he should be completing 65% of passes

Yes he was in effective. He had a chance to 'win' a game and did some good things on that final drive then flushed his opportunity. I am sad for him.

What about all the drops... not to mention the crappy play calling. As a coach you need GD has made the appropriate adjustments that you should do as a good coach. He needs to be gone.
 
how many balls were dropped that stopped drives and I,mean catchable balls. this was a rebuilt OL today with "TWO RSFR" starting at RG and LG with Tobin starting at LT instead of LG, DID SOME OF YOU EVEN WATCH THE GAME? Purdue sold out to stop the run, constantly having 7-8 men putting pressure on JVB
 
Bottom line, Purdue sucks....Iowa should not have even had to go on a game winning drive.
 
Yay! He got a good drive in before all was said and done, how many points did they score?

Blowing early opportunities isn't nullified by one drive.
