If JVB is the starter and Rudock is supposed to be heir apparrent...Where does that leave Sokol? Is there something (that we don't know) going on with the QB's that Iowa needs a start ready quarterback?
Maybe Rudock isn't all he's expected to be. Bringing in a Juco seems like they (the coaching staff) are expecting to need a QB in 2013 or possibly 2012.
Weinke hasn't shown anything in 3 years and expecting him to be more than the backup (to anyone) is a very long shot.
