Sobotka Shrine Bowl defensive MVP

Incoming freshman Jake Sobotka of Mount Ayr was named Defensive MVP of the Shrine Bowl this past weekend. Playing DE for the winning South squad, Sobotka tallied 1 sack, a fumble recovery, and 7 solos helping the South to a 23-7 win. He is a preferred walk-on for the coming season and is projected at MLB.
