So who will

be the player coming in that will be able to push us over the top and fill in for the loss of Joc. These boys aren't freshmen anymore and may make some improvement over this year but someone is going to have to bring something to this team that isn't there right now. If not it will be the same ole same ole. We will be competitive and win some games but not have the punch to be better next season unless someone makes big strides or the freshmen coming in make an impact.

Are you assuming no improvement by any of the returning players because I don't think the cavalry is riding in next season.

If CW sticks around I would say shooting guard.....If he leaves you are going to need another point guard. I am not sure what they do at that 2 spot. Some sort of Moss/Ellingson/CM combo I would guess.....I am speaking of just next year not beyond that.

The way I see it is the last half of the season we were pretty darn good. In that same time, Jok wasn't that great. Over the whole season he was really good, but during the last half he wasn't. So with no improvement from anyone, all we have to do is replace a pretty good but not great player to look like a pretty darn good team.

That said, I think Cook and Pemsl will both be noticeably better. I have to say Bohannon will be more of the same because how can he possibly improve from what he's doing now. I'm also hoping Connor can be an upgrade from Williams and Garza and Nunge will be an upgrade at the 5. I'm in the minority on this next one, but I don't think Moss will improve much. I just have a feeling he doesn't have the mental makeup to make the next step. If I'm wrong on that one, this class will win at least one Big 10 Championship.

Moss, Baer, Cook and Kriener are the guys that I think have the most potential of improving the most.
