So who was DJK's snitch?

First of all, DJK has been one of my favorite Hawkeyes ever over the course of his career. I've always loved the way he plays the game because we haven't had a game changer at receiver like him in so long. It was always frustrating to hear about him being in Ferentz' "doghouse" all the time, because he produced week in and week out on the field and always seemed to be a go to guy when they needed a big play.

That being said, others have stated that it wasn't much of a secret around campus that DJK did coke. I'm sure most of his teammates knew about it, and maybe even some of the coaches were aware that it was a problem. I'm not saying they all knew that he was living in a drug house and dealing out of there, but they probably knew he did drugs. Obviously anyone that bought drugs from him or his roommate knew, as well.

The whole timing of this situation is what I wonder about. I don't think it was a coincidence that the cops got an arrest warrant for DJK's roommate a week after the season ended. At the same time, DJK has apparently been running his mouth on facebook, saying he's holding a press conference after the bowl to tell everyone all about what's really been going on between him and Ferentz and why he didn't start at Minnesota. Is someone trying to shut him up? If so, it obviously worked since his facebook account is gone. Could another player have called it in?

Maybe this is a bit of a stretch/consipiracy theory, I just think the timing of this whole thing is strange.

if ferentz was positive that DJK was using cocaine, he would not have been playing. end of story. see Kahlil Hill (although it was PED's, not coke).
