So, what's your read on this weekend?

While I am sure it's happened, not too many 3 game losing streaks fresh in my mind for this program. I am sure it's not completely new territory for us. I feel like 2018 Iowa went thru a bad stretch and then demolished a team and people we're destroying our staff for our use of Fant. Feels like there is always some sort of controversy anymore with our media and fan base, we've basically become Nebraska with the level drama but still managing to win games.

How ya feeling? I think Iowa wakes up and lets some frustration out this weekend. If we lose the ships taking too much water and it's going down... how far down?

I think this is a big game to keep the teams moral, though. I worry that if Iowa struggles and lose, that KF could lose the team in the locker room. Hope not but I do have concern.

I see defense and special teams taking care of business with the offense once again struggling. I'm seeing a 200-250 yards of total offense performance with our defense giving our special teams some opportunities. I'm thinking somewhere around 17-6,

It will be similar to the Nevada game.

Iowa wins 24-3
Glass half full guy. I don't think this is impossible but it's probably best case scenario.

I could see it being 15-6 either way. I'm not sure who'll win but I'm sure it won't be pretty

I'm feeling this ^^. However, "taking out frustration" for this offense would be mustering up around 20 points.

I see Hawks 24 - 13.
5 field goals from the O, D gets a safety and a TD.
Fightin' Fitzes get 2 TDs on short fields and Big Fitz goes for 2 but fails.

I'm taking the Fitzes +17 on my teaser parlay.

How am I feeling? Terrible. I'm 99.9999% sure Iowa will win this game. You watch Northwestern and they totally suck ass. Iowa is clearly better than them. This shouldn't be a problem for this team.

But if you are a person who was in attendance at Iowa-Northwestern games in 2005, 2008, 2009 and 2010 and if you watched the 2020 game on TV you simply can't ignore that 0.00001% chance of a loss. In the same way that Ferentz had befuddled Michigan and Penn State, both of whom should generally be better than Iowa, Northwestern has done the same to Iowa. I'm terrified because if Iowa loses this game the season is over. In the past one could always say "meh, we'll be better next year" but in the brave new world of the transfer portal I honestly don't know what a rebuild looks like for a program like Iowa and it really concerns me because this one game could be a trajectory changer for the program.

There is a game Saturday? I thought the BIG felt sorry for our offense and gave us a double bye......

"Apathy-lack of interest, enthusiasm, or concern"

Check this out.

Since 1996 I've been to 6 home games against NW and 1 in Shitcago. All 7 were losses. And I'm going this weekend.
Guaranteed W then, even you cant buck the statistical odds of maintaining that L streak.....

I'm totally blaming you if Iowa loses this game.

BTW, where are your seats for this one?

What did you pay for tix?

Today, StubHub had two seats for example, visitors side, 50 yard line 60 rows up, $50/ea. (and dropping from yesterday)

Seats in the north endzone club area = $90/ea.

Iowa being a 11 point favorite makes me nervous. Something smells fishy. Pat Fitzgerald knows he can get into a chess match with Kirk and steal this game. Give me the Hawks, but I wouldn't be shocked if NW won it.

Northwestern 20
Iowa 17 (1 offensive touchdown, 1 defensive touchdown, 1 field goal)

Hope I'm wrong.

$42

We get mobile passes and that's what it ends up costing per game.

I think we shut out the Wildcats and score 17. So 17-0. This will be the last game we win this season. Wisky, Nebbie and Purdue all look years ahead of this team on offense.
