A coach that is going to be fired against a coach that a lot of fans wish would be fired. Nebraska has nothing to play for (other than pride) Iowa is playing to stay out of Detroit. Obviously our offense is a complete train wreck starting with the offensive line that was supposed to be good. Wirfs had a real tough day but I saw a couple of times they just ran over Daniels. Stanley has some ability but moving isnt one of them. At least when we drop a 30 yard pass it didnt bounce off his face mask for an interception.
So whats it going to look like? Does anyone care? Its time for basketball. Lets hope for better things with a round ball

I tried that once this season, by Friday I decided to listen on the radio. By the time hooker had his pick six, I flipped it on to see the replay. When it was 10-10, I turned it on. ;)
 
No idea. But we gotta find a way. Not for record, not for some minor bowl bid improvement. Just for me, living in Omaha.

I have been saying for weeks nebbys offense will challenge our defense and their weakness on defense is what we haven't been able to do all year...power run.

After the last 2 weeks, I am not hopeful.

Please find a way Hawks.
 
I decided to work instead of taking the afternoon off. I'm not wasting, and I emphasize the word wasting, a half day of vacation on Iowa Hawkeye Football.
 
They better show some damn fire and pride. Another slow start would not bode well.

Nebby has zero to play for, but it's senior day and their last game of the season for them.

If we are flat, which I have no reason to believe anything else based on the last 2 weeks, it'll be awful...again.

Ugh.
 
Don't want to waste and ruin the entire day, so will not be paying attention. Kirk's gonna look even worse when he loses to a terrible staff that is on its way out.

Have you seen how terrible this team is on the road?!?! I bet Iowa comes out flat and uninspired. I think the players have thrown in the towel. We are lucky that NU is awful this year, so there is a chance. Gonna be ugly football.

Yes. What I expect and want I hope are, unfortunately, different. I'll watch every snap, grinding my teeth. I can't help it. It's a sickness, and it's worse against nebby. F nebby.
 
13-12 at the end. Hope Iowa has the 13. NE not capable of running all over Iowa, they are that bad. But they can beat Iowa, yes.
