So Iowa gets rewarded a championship game because the team they lost too didn't play enough games. A championship game that even if Iowa wins would always be discounted because the best team in the conference, that beat you, wasn't allowed to participate because of a rule they didn't think through. A championship that everyone would consider a joke and probably gets an astericks next to it. Yeah, sign me up for that scenario!
I get that there would be some that felt they got their toy taken away. Indiana fans probably went from "Hey we are in" to "aw hell, screw tOSU!". They haven't been in a position to win the Big Ten since 1967, so I get it. But this Hawkeye fan wants a legit Big Ten championship, not one that was watered down.
I don't see this situation anywhere close to what the Big 12 has going on with Texas. Texas does whatever the hell they want, Nebraska tried to do that here and it didn't work. Keep in mind Ohio State only has 1 vote in the conference, the majority of the other schools voted to change the rule.
