So the two highest rated teams that Iowas played all season

Pitt's Connor and Indy's Coleman would rush for 300 yards apiece against ISU.

If Indiana's QB were still healthy they would be rated much higher but even at that ...

ISU might have the #5 toughest schedule but when you give up huge yards and points they do you should be rated more like #100

You may be missing the point.

ISU and Md are the top ranked teams Iowa has played because Iowa did not beat them when they should have.

If iowa would have beat ISU, then ISU would not be so highly ranked.

Wow. Nice find Rolling. Makes me nervous going forward. This team will really have to progress on a nice up curve!

How is this shocking? I think everyone here knew the 2 tough games on the schedule were Wisconsin and Nebraska. Was someone claiming different?

If anything our schedule will turn out tougher than most expected in that the pre season SOS had us pegged in the #84-#87 range. Right now we are at #62 and that SOS will become tougher once we play Wisconsin and Nebraska.

I'm still somewhat reminded of 2008. Iowa hadn't really beat anyone that year either, and leading up to the Penn State game Iowa lost to Illinois. Bad loss.

Then Iowa beats #3 Penn State, and no one saw that coming. If the Hawks play each remaining game this season like they did against Northwestern, they won't lose. It's possible. Not probable, but possible.
