He was pretty good in Legends of the Fall and some of those earlier movies, but ever since Brangelina I feel like he has..... oh wait, never mind. Got nothing on the football team. Other than they have the leading rusher in the country (yes, they played inferior opponents) and I am worried about how we bounce back from last week.
Will this be like 2002, where we have to outscore opponents? If so, can Vandy step up and be productive enough to the put the team on his shoulders? Who is going to get carries and spell Coker as a change of pace back?
I think we will get at least some answers this Saturday. At least it is a mediocre BCS team and it is at home. I just hope the boo birds don't come out.

#1 running back. Not much else. They have problems. I expect Iowa to do much better this week than against ISU.

If you put together an all-time team for every college, you won't find a much better quartet than Marino, Dorsett, Green and Fitzgerald. That's a pretty good nucleus to build a team around.

108th pass defense, giving up 305 / game against Buffalo & Maine. Marvin and Keenan will be allowed to be difference makers. All the while, Marcus will go for a quiet 100+.
Defense will continue to struggle but also progress -- slightly. At least Sunseri won't put on the Persa / Jantz cape at such crucial times. Graham will get his yards but not his average and will not be nations leading rusher after this game.

I expect Iowa's D to do better than give up 27 points this week. I think they will hold Pitt to a sub 20 total.

They are extremely aggressive on defense. they are going to blitz on 50 to 60% of first and second down and 90% on third. They run a 3-3-5 set similar to Michigan and are very undersized on defense. Very similar to Michigan defensively last year. If their secondary tackles as well as ISU did Saturday the running game will struggle.
Offensively they are a run heavy spread. Sunseri isn'the type of athlete they prefer at QB. He is mobile but prone to turnovers and not going to beat us by running. Offensive line has issues. 2 good receivers.

Early word is that Christensen will not start at qb this week, and is not even considered the #2. IE he will not be our closer either.
