It's game 2 of a season where you are 1-0. If you get to 2-0 the outlook is much brighter for the season. Think of the last few years when Iowa lost to ISU:
2011, 8-5 better than 7-6
2007, 7-5 better than 6-6 plus go to a bowl
2005, 8-4 better than 7-5
2002,12-1 better than 11-2
2001, 8-4 better than 7-5
Obviously very hypothetical, but winning this game is important for the rest of the year. The B1g is tough, get the wins in the non con are important.

I seem to recall after the 2007 loss some boosters on the I-Club circuit got after Kirk for losing to ISU so much. Don't remember anything about the players though.
Yeah michigan and wisky sure showed that the top of the B1G is insanely good!! B1G is 4th best conference, which is pretty sad.

Because there are more troll feeders on this forum than any other forum I've ever been on. At this point, this board has morphed into something that would be boring without the clone trolls. ISU and IOWA truly are each others best friends, it's a truly Iowan relationship and the 2 major free boards of each fanbase reflect. Some college psych major should do a project on it, it's unique.
