Pretty much over except for the whimpering. Oh, there may be another two or three wins to be had this year, but mostly I think there's going to be pain and suffering.

And then, I pick myself up and look at our schedule again and think... well, maybe we could get to one of the very lesser bowl games. LOLOL Hope springs eternal. Or maybe it's just the beer.

I personally don't think it's over.. Not only is the big10 collectively terrible, but the Hawks can be a decent team if they play consistent football.

I think the Hawks can hang with most of the teams on the schedule if the D plays solid the entire game. No more sleeping in the first half and playing a solid 2nd. I would also be fine with giving up one or two big plays a game playing man coverage then watch the D just let the opposing offense drive down the field 10-15 yards at a time to beat them.

So to summarize, if the D plays all 4 quarters (not the last 2), JVB stops throwing behind people, and the receivers catch the football consistently.. I feel they could be a decent football team. I'm going with it's not over because I optimistically think they can do the things I just mentioned in Big10 play. I think they'll start next week by playing a full game against the goofs.

Depends on your definition of 'season'. I expect we will win some games we didn't expect and lose some games we didn't expect. Well the last part isn't true, I expect to lose every game
