Clones of course at #3 are poised to make a deep run. Drake is 12-1 with some nice wins over Vanderbilt, Miami FL and K State. Really good job as they had to pretty much start over with new players and new coach. Too bad we don't play Drake and UNI anymore. Would certainly be more interesting than clobbering New Hampshire

Former Drake coach DeVries just took his West Virginia team to Kansas and beat them. Doesn't happen there often. He is off to a great start

Drake's coach, Ben McCollom, was born in Iowa City and graduated from Storm Lake St. Mary's. He won 4 national championships at NW Mo St and is obviously doing a great job at Drake. They returned 2 players from last year that combined to average 4.6 ppg. I realize people will want Jans or DeVries, but McMollom is my guy. I'd watch Iowa BB again.

Right, we get that he's not an Iowa fan. Every few weeks. He's not wrong though anymore. Iowa has not been performing and so far this season hasn't been as good as I had hoped. That said, this dude sucks hard.
