So, are we rooting for the BT?

As I watch the tournament games,I find myself rooting for our fellow Big Ten teams to win, even some of the programs I detest, like say, Wisconsin. You guys feel the same?

Of course I am pulling for the big 10. The better the league is and the better the TV exposure potential recruits think they can get in the B1G the better chance Iowa has for getting one season\career making player.

I want to see the big 10 teams win and would love to see 4 teams in the final four. That still doesnt mean I like minny, wisky, and OSU that much (those are my most hated teams in the league).

Oh I almost forgot, MSU as they get away with murder grabbing bumping and clutching
 




I have a hard time rooting for Wisconsin to win anything. I have been programmed since birth to hate them. The rest of the big ten I'm ok with.
 


As with football and the bowls:
  1. Iowa
  2. B1G
  3. Teams I like (or against teams I don't like)
  4. State

Just my $.02 .. ..

Ditto.

I root for all Big Ten teams except Wisconsin.

I live in Madison. When I first moved here, I thought "hey, maybe I can sort of root for these guys." After living here and realizing how they feel about Iowa, I say F em.

I would've rooted for the departed Bin Laden before I rooted for Bo.

I turned down a job because it was in Madison. That's a tough place to live for a Hawk Fan. Your a better man than me. God speed!
 






Would love to see Indiana, Michigan, etc. make huge runs, have their best guys have huge games, and leave early.
 


The B1G needs to prove they are the best conference in the country. I've said all year Wiscy is over-rated, but they continued to find ways to win. Not today. Just wait, ESPN, etc is going to mention how Wiscy made it to the B1G title game, and yet they lost today and diminish the B1G.

Hey, they gave us 41 seconds the other night after we beat Indiana St. That's 41 seconds they could have devoted to Oladipo or Burke. We should feel honored.
 


Rooting for the Big 10 but not upset when Wisconsin lost. Won't be too upset if Illinois and Minnesota go down either.

Read a lot of this on multiple boards the past two weeks. Are fans really this concernced with how their conference is perceived? Count me in the group that doesn't understand it. Is it an insecurity thing or what? And are there actual people that wear sweaters with just the conference label accross the chest?
