Snyder torn ACL

Knowing that he's not NFL material and that after 2 ACL tears a pro team wouldn't touch you with a 10 foot pole anyway, at what point do you cut your losses and decide that it would suck to be hobbled for the rest of your life and call it a career?

I know it's not an easy question, and that having a 19 year-old mind along with being a fierce competitor makes it a different story. If I were that age and had that talent it'd be hard to pry me away. Now? No question that I'd be long gone.

He should cut the losses, but likely won't. When the knee is bad as you age, it's bad news. I know. Ironically, when I had my knee injury (blew out medial meniscus and about everything in my knee, after the intense pain went away I came back in and score a goal. It's Adrenalin. When the swelling went down I couldn't walk across the kitchen...no stability. After the collision, my calf was laying flat to the ground, but I was kneeling.....backwards. Was in total denial. Derrick Rose and I had the same surgeon.

If he tore the ACL again, I doubt his meniscus is well.
